This kind of defeats the purpose of the melody plugin. As shown on the Mac version it will populate the melody based on the Chords. Yes clicking the fill section will fill in only 1 bar at a time. This is not only a hassle because you need to click on each individual bar to populate so if you have 8 or more bars this is very time consuming.
