Downloads don't start: You should consult our " Troubleshooting website issues " page. I've tried downloading skyrim mods and fallout 4 mods so I know it's not an issue with downloading for a certain game I've tried with and without a VPN so I know that isn't the issue I've tried on multiple browsers so I know chrome or my extensions aren't the issue.

Anything I can find online is solving a problem with someones choice of mod manager so I am unable to find something relevant to my problem. I have a screenshot of the issue, it's the same no matter what I try to download for any game. Edit: I am able to download some mods by going to the mod page, going into the files, and opening the 'download manually' link in a new tab however this doesn't work with a lot of mods I wish to use so this won't work long term.

I tried probably two dozen mods between FO4, Skyrim and Morrowind. It's only the NMM, manuals work fine, so what I've been doing is dumpingall my mods into a folder and then having NMM manually install them. Nothing has changed since the last time I used Nexusmods a few months ago, except that the site got an overhaul. You may have downloaded them to a place in your computer that nmm doesnt know to look.

Try clicking the folders dropdown at the top and opening the folders to see if anything is in them. If theres stuff there then you could also try resetting the nmm ui. Its at the top in tools. After that Im not sure and I would say reinstall nmm. Small addition: I know you are clicking the add from file button. It could be that the manager doesnt have the mod directory set up and has no where to place the file. Also, the mod needs to be in its archive still.

Dont extract them and try to add the folder, just add the archive. Dont think of it as adding a mod file so much as adding a mod which is stored in another file lol. There is no "installing in a certain order".
