I don't believe it is possible to convert a disc to digital. Every time you want to play the game after installing to your console. You will need to put the physical disc into the console. The console will then check the validity of the disc before launching the game. Otherwise especially on xbox one it will tell you that you need to either log into the profile that you purchased the game with, or it will give you the option to launch the store and purchase the digital version before playing.
